HOW DO MY STUDENTS FEEL ABOUT OUR LESSONS?

black-woman-7368389_960_720_edited.jpg

I was initially unsure about how lessons with Carol would work, but the lessons seemed so interesting and inspiring that I felt I had to do it. I decided to try the first lesson out to see if I liked it, and I loved every minute! Lessons with Carol are not just classical piano – but music that is well-known. Carol helps me choose the music I want to learn, and I always feel well-prepared. The app has really helped build my knowledge of different ways of playing the piano - and this was a nice surprise! Most of all, I feel like I can play from my heart and pursue my passion. Highly recommended!

QUESTIONS?

HOW MUCH DO PIANO LESSONS COST?

Our lessons are incredibly good value at just £25 per hour. This is because you will receive 30-minute weekly face-to-face piano lessons and 30-minute weekly online tutorial lessons.

CAN ADULTS TAKE PIANO LESSONS?

Yes - adults are excellent piano learners! If you want an interesting read, try John Holt's 'Never Too Late' (1991). John took up learning an instrument aged 40.

HOW MANY PIANO LESSONS DO I NEED?

It normally takes beginners 18 months to achieve Grade 1. Each grade thereafter takes around 6 months.

CAN I LEARN WITHOUT A PIANO?

You'll need a piano at home to practise on. I'll set you on the right course for getting an instrument if you don't already have one.

DO PIANO LESSONS HELP BRAIN DEVELOPMENT?

Yes. Piano lessons balance your mental state, increase your life expectancy, and help you realise your potential. They train your concentration and reactive capacities while improving your creativity. They slow the loss of brain function over time and increase IQ.

WHEN SHOULD I START PIANO LESSONS?

Your child can start piano lessons from 3 years old. For adults, it's never too late to learn! The best time to start was yesterday, the second best time to start is today. If you really want to learn piano, book your lesson and start now!
