Piano Lessons Hampton, VA

My name is Rita Hsu who is the Piano / Cello instructor in Hampton VA. I was born in Taiwan and am fluent in Mandarin and English.

I have a very strong music background - Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree of Fine Arts in Music. I’ve been teaching group and one-on-one music lessons for over 10 years. I offer private lessons from beginners-advanced, adults, kids, special needs. Teaching classical and pop music style, guiding ABRSM certificate online or in studio.

I use Piano Adventures, ABRSM Exam pieces, Suzuki books and any other songs you are interested in learning, and we require a keyboard or a piano during the lessons. My teaching is very versatile, I tailor the private lesson to each student’s needs, including different teaching methods from group to one-on-one lessons.

I believe that my teaching makes kids and adults have fun learning the instruments. I like to create a happy and relaxing environment for students, learning the skills needed. We are not only sharing music but also life, and we can grow together. I hope to see you soon!
